WHAT AND WHY

The Washington Metropolitan Area Otolaryngology Society has been organized to foster the practice of Otolaryngology in the Washington metropolitan area. The focus of this society is to regularly meet with those specialists in the field of Otolaryngology to hear, evaluate and disseminate matters of technical and procedural importance to the practice of the specialty and to promote the delivery of the highest standard of care to their patients.

WHO

Any physician who has completed an accepted residency in Otolaryngology, who is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, or is eligible for certification, who is in good standing with their licensure board, medical society and hospitals and resides in the Washington metropolitan area shall be eligible for membership.

 

WHEN

The society meets four times per year between the months of October and May. These are usually on Thursday evenings.

 

 

WHERE

We will be rotating between fine restaurants in Washington, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. An announcement with the exact location will be e-mailed to each member prior to each meeting. It will also be announced on our web-site www.washmetrosoc.com.
